Join us in Detroit, Michigan for the 2012 Spring Leadership Summit. New Tech Network invites you and a thought partner to attend this event where you can join other leaders from the network of 87 schools for two days of intense professional development, networking, and fellowship. Following up from the previous summit’s focus on “adaptive leadership,” you will explore how to Build the Adaptive Capacity of your School. You will also engage in a selection of NTN Coach and Director-led workshops, with plenty of opportunities to deepen your professional relationships and collaborate with other leaders around topics of mutual interest.

Event information

Each director and principal is invited to participate in the Spring Leadership Summit and bring along one key thought partner.

• The event will run from 8:00AM - 5:00PM  on March 1 and 8:30AM - 2:00PM on March 2. Click here for the agenda.
• Our main meeting space will be the Mackinac meeting room on the fifth floor. Click here for a floorplan of the hotel.
• Registration will be located in front of the Mackinac room.
• The registration desk and laptop checkin will be open from 5:00 - 7:00PM on Wednesday, February 29 and 7:00AM - 8:00AM on March 1.
• The hotel lobby is located on the third floor. 
• Please be sure to bring laptops properly configured to access the internet.
• Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided each day from 7:00AM - 8:00AM. Please indicate any dietary restrictions when you register.
  
• A special reception will be held on Thursday evening. More details to follow.

We invite conference participants to arrange their hotel accommodations by February 10 at the Detroit Marriott - Renaissance Center. We have secured a group rate of $125 per night. Transportation information

We recommend flying into Detroit Metro Airport. New Tech Network has set up a discounted rate of $30 round trip or $15 each way for shuttle service to and from the airport with Express Shuttle Services. Please call Denis Mathews at 313-962-8888 or email denismathews@msn.com and mention New Tech Network to secure the preferred rate. Be sure to include your name, airline, flight number, and phone number when you make your arrangements.

New Tech Network Cancellation Policy:

Attendees assume all risk incidental to participation in all activities, loss or damage to property, and release management and its employees and agents against any claims.

Cancellations will not be accepted one week prior to event. Should a cancellation take place after this time, a cancellation fee may be incurred. Please contact Mary Ayers if you have any cancellation questions.
